Horns
The brows of most fumis are adorned with bony protrusions extending directly from their skulls, known as horns. These horns are always covered in a thin layer of skin, which tears easily, but features rapid regenerative properties much like the fumi's vapor sack. Although the horns can be used in protection or combat, most fumis prefer not to use them for such activities. A fumi would rather use their horns as a mating display, as larger horns typically indicate a higher level of dominance (although this is not always the case).
The horns come in a wide variety of shapes, although some are more difficult to reproduce than others. In the fan horoscope, the horns symbolize alignments.

Uni-hornedA single horn which protrudes forward straight from the fumi's brow.
Some may curve to where the tips are facing to the back of the head, but they are still considered a uni type horn. Although the position of this horn type allows the fumi to more easily gouge in conflict, they also have a weak spot right behind their horn, which makes any pressure on their horn very painful. Most tend to prefer to avoid conflict all together for this reason, and are considered the easiest fumis to care for as a result. Symbolizes: Neutral Good |
Buzzsaw HornedMuch like the typical single horn, but with an uneven surface.
The surface of this type may be serrated like a saw blade, lay flat like scale plates, or a mixture of both. Fumis with this horn type are considered the most difficult and dangerous that are available to the public, since they are typically more aggressive and dominant. Symbolizes: Lawful Evil |
(RESTRICTED) Harmful Horns
Horn defects that, due to the harm they may cause for the fumi and others around it, are restricted from public access.

Uni-Buzzsaw HornedMuch like a uni horn, but with an uneven surface like a buzzsaw horn. Fumis with this horn type experience a mix of aggression a buzzsaw horned fumi would have, and the passiveness of a uni horned fumi.
This results in unpredictable moods and behavior, which in turn can cause a lot of damage to the fumi's emotional, mental, and social health. |
Multi-Buzzsaw HornedMuch like a buzzsaw horn, but with two horns side-by-side instead of one. Fumis with this horn type are highly aggressive and destructive, and are considered the most dangerous fumis aside from abominable snowfumis. They find difficulty interacting peacefully with other fumis as well, and they've quickly rose to infamy as the most prized pit-fighters.
Symbolizes: Chaotic Evil |

Tri-horned(example features Multihorn and Unihorn)
The presence of 3 horns, which can come in streamlined, knob, uni, or buzzsaw form. It isn't uncommon for the third horn to be a different type then the others. Fumis with this type of horn appear to have extreme difficulty communicating with other fumis, as if they are speaking a different language, perhaps a result of a mutation in their vapor. While this obviously can damage a fumi socially, how it effects them emotionally and mentally depends on the individual. Some may suffer, while some may grow to embrace this part of themselves. Symbolizes: Foreignness |
Antlers (Branched or Prong Horned)Horns that exhibit antler-like shapes, which are always present on a snowfumi. They can come in any quantity between 1 and 4.
A horn with a single split is considered pronged, while any more are considered branched. Fumis with this horn type have an odd effect on other fumis, forcing them into a state of strained glee. Although this is unpleasant for the effected fumis, they are unable to express this to the prong/branch horned individual, nor can they do harm to them or drive them away. So these individuals oftentimes remain blissfully ignorant. Symbolizes: Enthrallment |
